Texan Verde Queso Dip

Texas Green Sauce and Cheese go together like peas and carrots, like Batman and Robin, ...like farts and matches (thank you Ricky Bobby). There is just not a better combination of two condiments in the history of food, literally. (spoiler alert: this TGS cheese heaven might be our next Texas Green Sauce product that winds up on the shelf of a store near you in 2024!)

Ingredients

  • 10 oz of Kraft Old English cheese spread (or other cheese spread of your choice)

  • ½ jar of Texas Green Sauce (Hot or Original)

  • 1/2 can of drained chopped tomatoes

Directions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl or in a saucepan over low heat, gently warm the cheese spread until it's melted and smooth, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.

  2. Gradually stir in the Texas Green Sauce and tomatoes until the mixture is fully combined and has a uniform color.

  3. If the mixture is too thick, you can thin it with the juice from the tomatoes until you reach the desired consistency.

  4. Once all ingredients are well incorporated, remove from heat.

  5. Serve the Texan Verde Queso Dip warm with a selection of dippers like tortilla chips, fresh vegetables, or crusty bread. Enjoy your zesty and creamy dip!

BONUS: If you really want to go all out, fold in some seasoned taco meat prior to serving, just don't count on any leftovers!

Texas green sauce bloody Mary

Look, we get it, we have a great sauce and it's very versatile; you can dip it with chips, mix it with other condiments, and use it in the kitchen when preparing those special dishes. But mixing cocktails with it, c'mon man! Well, one Sunday afternoon, we found ourselves a little too bored and craving the great flavor of that famous cocktail, the Bloody Mary. Well, curiosity got the best of us and this is what transpired... the best Bloody Mary recipe ever!

Into a Blender, pour…

1 cup of tomato juice

1/2 cup of vodka

1/4 cup of Texas Green Sauce (Original or HOT)

3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce

Blend for 10-20 seconds (this thins the sediment of the sauce)

pour into a glass over ice

Garnish & serve

(now what other concoctions could we conjure up?)
